Only for children or step-children of living or deceased Elks who are presently (or at time of death) members in good standing in an Elks Lodge in the State of New York. Available to high school seniors and students through their senior year in college. Due early November.
Son, daughter, step-son, step-daughter, grandson, granddaughter of an Elk in good standing since April 2006; $1,000 for each of four years of college; high school seniors who have taken SAT or ACT by December of senior year; strong average, good test scores, extracurricular activities. NOT based on financial need. Due early January. .
Available to a student who will be attending college or is now attending college who has a parent who is an Elk and is disabled and unable to work, or student whose parent was an Elk at the time of death; up to $4,000 per year depending on need. NOT an academic scholarship.
Applications will be available in early September from the student's Guidance Counselor or anytime by using the internet. ENF application can be downloaded at:

Completed applications must be returned to the Guidance Offices. Check with them for deadlines.
It is recommended that if a student has a parent who is an Elk, that he or she apply for each scholarship in the Elks programs to increase their opportunity to be awarded one.

The Board of Trustees of the Watertown Elks is to offer a number of scholarship awards to the family members of those members belonging to the Watertown Lodge. The number and amount of the awards to be made is determined each year by the Board of Trustees. Applications for the scholarships are to be made available in April through June of each Lodge year. A committee will determine the winners of the awards and will be announced at the first Lodge session in June.
